Stripping and crimping
The cable termination for thru hole soldering is made by a stripping process, through which the insulation is stripped off the copper conductors using a special cutter. The conductors’ end can then be processed further to the required termination style with specific bending tools. Crimping technology is another way to terminate the cable, allowing Crimp contact connector to be assembled at the cable end.
